Come join us at the Northwest Carriage Museum for this special Pacific County Museum Month presentation of Kassie Swogger from K.S. Farrier Services giving demonstrations of horseshoeing throughout the day. Watch her do a full set of shoes at 11am and 2pm and learn what life as a Farrier is all about!
Demonstration will include fun and interesting information about horse care, Farrier craft, and the history of horseshoeing. NWCM Curator Jerry Bowman will also be on hand with fascinating tidbits about the integral role of horses in the history of transportation, industry, agriculture, and more!
Also check out the debut of the gallery of submissions for NWCM's Art Competition, on display throughout the month of May!
