It's not the first time devoted fans of The Goonies, the 1980s cult classic largely filmed in Astoria, have had reason to dream. 

Media outlets have reported rumors of a Goonies sequel in the not-too-distant past. That time is here again.

Are Mikey, Chunk, Mouth, Brand, Data, Sloth and crew ready to reunite on the big-screen nearly 30 years after The Goonies hit the big screen?
