Ft. Columbia has a rich human history, but did you know its natural history is pretty fascinating, too? Join Master Naturalist Rebecca Lexa as she shares some of the amazing flora, fauna, and fungi that live uphill from this old fort. Bring your curiosity--and a good set of hiking footwear--as we head up the slope and into the mixed conifer forest that has overlooked the river for many years.

While the trail is well maintained, there may be rough spots here and there. Also, there is a LOT of uphill as we climb the slope, so you may want to bring hiking poles. (Just remember that you get to go back down once we head back!) Participants will be required to sign a liability form before we embark on the tour and agree to a code of conduct that basically boils down to "be nice to each other, and be nice to the land."

Your ticket covers admission for one person. Gratuities after the tour are optional but appreciated.
