Artist studios and work places from Ilwaco to Oysterville will be open, offering a unique opportunity for visitors to meet a wide variety of artists and craftspeople in their studios, some of which are only open to the public during this event. The studio tour promotes awareness and appreciation of the arts within the community and gives visitors a chance to meet the artists and observe them at work.
The self-guided event is FREE and family-friendly. Learn from the artists how they create, the source of their inspiration, and even why they create. See the techniques of wheel-thrown pottery, clay sculpture, iris folding, fabric arts, photography, oil and acrylic painting, as well as other disciplines. You will see original artwork being created, and can ask questions directly of the artists. Artwork will be available for purchase and delicious refreshments will be available at each venue.
