The camera was coordinated locally by the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce through EarthCam's America250 initiative in partnership with the Columbia River Maritime Museum. The project helps showcase Astoria and Oregon's North Coast to viewers around the world while supporting tourism and celebrating America's 250th anniversary.
