The North Coast Chorale is presenting their winter concert on three different dates this year,Friday Dec 13, Friday Dec 20 and Sunday Dec 22. The concert consists of two parts:the first is a collection of Holiday favorites and the second is a very special staged production of "Amahl and the Night Visitors".  "Amahl" is a one act opera retelling the tale of the Magi from the viewpoint of a disabled boy.  Written by Gian-Carlo Menotti and first performed in 1951 on television,it is a heart-warming story about a boy who lives in poverty with his widowed mother and is given a very special gift.
In the spirit of giving, the Chorale will have donation bins for warm clothing, new socks, scarves, gloves etc. as well as money.  All donations will be given to the Astoria Warming Center, whose mission it is to warm unsheltered people in the community.
Tickets are $10.00 per person with children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by an adult..

North Coast Chorale receives support from the Oregon Arts Commission and is also sponsored by Lum's Auto, your local Toyota dealer.
