This is a not to be missed North Coast tradition that leaps with energy and is back to delight for another season.

“At Little Ballet Theatre, we realize attending the NUTCRACKER is a tradition for many families. It has become a multi-generational experience in which parents, grandparents and children alike become entranced by the magical story. We are so honored and grateful to uphold this tradition,” notes Founder and Artistic Director Jeanne Maddox Peterson.

The production features sets designed by Ann Murray, costumes by Debra Barbic, a 50-piece live orchestra with a 12-voice choir and the brilliant Tchaikovsky score conducted by Cory Pederson. The beautiful classical ballet is performed at the Astoria High School auditorium by 75 dancers and guest artists are from Ballet Idaho making it a stunning production.

Don’t miss the chance to see the Christmas tree glowing and growing on stage, 150 pounds of snow falling, and Clara receiving her special gift from Dr. Drosselmeyer – the NUTCRACKER!

Little Ballet Theatre is a 501 C 3 non-profit foundation and recognized by the Oregon Cultural Trust.
