Christmas Eve is always one of my favorite days at Brut. It’s a wonderful time for last minute shopping, enjoying great wine, and sharing in the spirit of merriment with friends and neighbors.
On December 24th, I’ll be open from noon until 5:00 PM. During these hours, I’ll be pouring a traditional Burgundian drink, the sparkling Kir Royale—a festive way to toast the holiday. Stop by, raise a glass, and join in the seasonal cheer.

Join us at Bethany Lutheran Church, located at 451 34th St. (across from Safeway), for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.  We will open the doors at 9:30 pm, and the service starts at 10:00 pm.  Christmas Eve Services are an excellent way to step away from the holiday season's chaos for a peaceful break.

Gather with us at Peace First Lutheran Church, 725 33rd St, on Christmas Eve as we think about what it means to be "Humble and Holy" on this final night of the Advent Season of our Lord's birth.  We'll be reminded of God's love for us through songs and scripture.  Children at this service will be invited to build the Nativity creche while listening to the story of the very first Christmas.  The service will conclude with the lighting of candles and song.

The FALLEN HEROES tribute, honoring musicians we've lost over the year, is back!

Ring in the new year with live renditions of classic favorites, featuring an Astoria super-group ensemble, including members from Blind Pilot, Horse Feathers, The New Old Stock, Idanha, along with some very special guests.

This year's covers include music from Ozzy Osbourne, Roberta Flack, Brian Wilson, Sly Stone, and many more.

Doors open at 9:30pm. There is no cover, but there is a suggested $10 donation that will go to participating musicians.

Brut will be open from 2:00 PM-10:00 PM on December 31st and will be pouring three delicious Champagnes by the glass (along with other by the glass wine options and beer). This year, I’m featuring two very different styles of Champagne produced by small grower estates, and, as a bonus, I’m including a limited glass pour of the Gaston Chiquet 2016 Special Club Champagne!
